After losing over 50kgs over a 2 year period I notice no matter how hard I trained there seem to be something lacking, as my goal of getting ripped and having the “six pack” was looking like it could only be a dream.
Then in march of 2012 I had shoulder surgery to finally get my shoulder reconstructed due to old and new sporting injuries. After surgery I was feeling down and out as I couldn’t train and felt the kilograms piling back on.
Then I thought about ways to maintain my weight whilst recovering post operation, and knew my diet was the key in achieving my goal of maintaining my weight.
I was referred to Leanne Simays from Transform by a friend, I was a bit nervous going to see her as she has over 20 years experience in training/nutrition and bodybuilding competitions. But soon after a quick chat I soon realized that this was the right decision, as I realized she is very down to earth person to talk to that made me feel at ease.
Seeing the great results in body fat loss vs muscle gains during rehabilitation, I was very encouraged by these results and decided to compete in my first bodybuilding competition.
So Leanne was my go to person again to get serious about fine tuning my diet even more so than ever, the great thing was that I was getting a nutritional plan to suit my body type and not some generic type of nutrition plan.
For the first time in my life I can finally say I have the “six pack” and loving it.
